The 151-bed hospital - the largest rehabilitation hospital in the region - offers the full continuum of services for adults and adolescents, including inpatient, outpatient and day treatment. The wide range of illnesses and injuries treated at BMRH includes brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, chronic pain, and orthopedic injuries.

Rehabilitation Services include Physiatry, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Language Pathology and Therapeutic Recreation. The Comprehensive Acute Rehabilitation Unit is nationally accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation in conjunction with the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Campus.
